November 7th to 11th, 2019, Beijing Sport University became a center of latest basketball practical and science news, where leading experts of the basketball industry have shared their experience and visions on the future of basketball games.
The World Basketball Forum has attracted international speakers to share their knowledge’s how basketball sport can be developed using best practices of world-leading organizations. Widely recognised experts, such as Richard Stokes, Senior Director for Officiating from Euroleague, Prof. Alejandro Vaquera, FIBA Referees Global Fitness Coordinator, Henrik Dettman, Head coach of Finland Men’s Basketball team, Rimantas Kaukenas, Former LTU National team player, Prof. Rutenis Paulauskas, Lithuanian Basketball expert and others have presented approaches and visions of what world-leading basketball organizations are doing to maintain basketball the fastest growing sport in the world.
“It was a great opportunity for local Chinese basketball stakeholders and international participants – coaches, managers, referees, and fans, to learn the best world practice of basketball development and to implement it into the local basketball system”- IBU director dr. Mindaugas Balciunas admitted after a very successful event in Beijing, China.
The World Basketball Forum – is a major international event focusing on exploring the phenomenon of the fastest growing sport in the world – basketball. It is organized in partnership with two educational institutions – Beijing Sport University and International Basketball University. Very symbolic, that this year it took place in China, the country that organized the world’s ever biggest basketball event – World Basketball Cup 2019.
