The February IBU 5-Day Intensive Basketball Coaching Course brought together coaches from 10 countries around the world. Basketball coaches from Ghana, Philippines, Turkey, Ireland, Estonia, China, Ukraine, Denmark, Belarus and Lithuania in Kaunas studied Lithuanian basketball methodology, visited local youth basketball schools, watched Euroleague game and interacted with Lithuanian basketball legends.
“It was an amazing time of basketball knowledge and innovation, I learned a lot and I recommend everyone come here,” said Richard Borsah, a basketball coach from Ghana at the end of the course.
Intensive International Basketball University courses are held monthly and are primarily aimed at youth basketball coaches and managers, with no more than 16 coaches per course to ensure the highest level of teaching effectiveness.
