Coronavirus situation forced the cancelation of the April and May courses

Due to continued global growth of Coronavirus situation, the IBU has decided to cancel April and May intensive courses for basketball coaches for participant's health safety reasons. We thank all registered participants for their understanding and support. The following course will be held in June along with the Olympic Men's Basketball Qualifying Tournament in Kaunas, Lithuania. Full details on the June Youth Basketball Coaching Course will be available shortly.

The February IBU 5-Day Intensive Basketball Coaching Course brought together coaches from 10 countries around the world. Basketball coaches from Ghana, Philippines, Turkey, Ireland, Estonia, China, Ukraine, Denmark, Belarus and Lithuania in Kaunas studied Lithuanian basketball methodology, visited local youth basketball schools, watched Euroleague game and interacted with Lithuanian basketball legends.
